5. Two Fired-Up Teams
Derby day in North London is always a heated affair, but never more so than in recent times as the teams are so close in the Premier League table. Spurs go in to the match 4 points clear of their biggest rivals and there is potentially so much more at stake than a single result. A Spurs win will put 7 points between the teams with only 10 games remaining, meaning they would have to capitulate to fall behind Arsenal (something Spurs aren't unfamiliar with doing, however). An Arsenal win would narrow the gap between the teams to a single point, meaning the final standings would still be anyone's guess. A draw would be disappointing for both teams, but would probably favour Spurs, as it would still leave the Gunners with something of an uphill task. Regardless, what the current standings guarantee is that both teams know it's all to play for, and you can guarantee that both will be fired up and hoping to make a good start to the match. Expect an explosive opening.
