On July 13, 2019, the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California will host UFC Fight Night 155. Following a very successful pay-per-view event (UFC 239) this past weekend, the Ultimate Fighting Championship looks to build on their momentum with another exciting night of fights.

In the main event, two top contenders in the women's bantamweight division look to make their case for a shot at Amanda Nunes and her title. Former UFC Women's Featherweight Champion 'The Iron Lady' Germaine de Randamie will attempt to continue her journey toward becoming a two-division champ when she faces surging prospect Aspen Ladd.

In the co-main event, California will welcome home one of their favorite sons, former WEC champ Urijah Faber. After roughly two and a half years away from the octagon, 'The California Kid' will be coming out of retirement to face scrappy up-and-comer, Ricky Simon.

The card will also feature the return of Faber's Team Alpha Male protege, Josh Emmett.

Marvin Vettori, the man who took current interim UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya to his limit, will also be an action.

Now it's time to take a closer look at UFC 155 and provide a few predictions as well.

5. Marvin Vettori (12-4-1) Vs. Cezar Ferreira (13-7)

After serving a six-month suspension for a failed drug test, Trento, Italy's Marvin Vettori returns to action against Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace Cezar Ferreira.

Last time we saw Vettori in action we lost a close fight, via split decision, to current interim middleweight champ Israel Adesanya. The Italian standout is a solid grappler, excellent striker, and possess a good deal power in his hands.

His opponent is Cezar Ferreira, who is coming off of a decision loss to Ian Heinisch this past November. The 34-year-old Brazilian is a well-rounded veteran who has had fourteen contests in the UFC and come away with nine victories. He's a 3rd-degree black belt, who has won all of his fights with the promotion by either submission or decision.

Based on what we've seen as late, the 25-year-old Italian appears to be a bit more athletic, explosive and may have a slight edge as far technical striking. However, Ferreira was a much stronger grappling pedigree and will enjoy a slight height and reach advantage.

If the Brazilian is able to get Vettori to the mat, he may be able to lock in a submission and get the W. However, if Vettori's seventy-three percent takedown defense holds, he should have the edge in a standup war.

The pick: Vettori via decision.
