UFC's Jason High To Face Disciplinary Action Following In-Ring Incident?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gShQ2ZhRjoU It€™s easy to lose your head in combat sports, but there are some lines you just don€™t cross, as Jason High is now learning. Moments after his TKO loss to Rafael dos Anjos Saturday night, Jason High began protesting the stoppage, and in the process shoved referee Kevin Mulhall. At the post-fight press conference, UFC Senior Director of Public Relations Dave Shoeller apologized for the incident, and stated €œIn the heat of the moment, a lot of things can happen, but you can€™t put your hands on an official.€ He indicated a fine or suspension would fall under the jurisdiction of the New Mexico Athletic Commission, but that the company would review the incident on Monday. High took to twitter to apologize after the incident, posting €œIncredibly sorry & embarrassed for the ref incident. Will never happen again.€ Such incidents are frowned upon across the pro sports world, especially in contact sports, but they do happen. In this year€™s Stanley Cup Playoffs in the NHL, the New York Ranger€™s Dan Carcillo shoved a referee during a game against Montreal, and was suspended for a 10 game stretch that was reduced to six games on appeal.
