10. How To Get There
It's not a particularly hard stadium to get to - situated on the A41 about half a mile from Junction 1 of the M5. Leave the M5 and it's harder to miss it than to find it, but beware of speed cameras - there's a few of them - not that you'd be speeding anyway of course. For those travelling by train, the stadium has its own station, about a five minute walk away, which can be reached from Birmingham New Street: first take a train to Smethwick Galton Bridge and change there for the Hawthorns. The whole journey should take a shade less than 25 minutes. There's also direct trains from Birmingham Moor Street and Birmingham Snow Hill with a metro line running from Birmingham Snow Hill.
