West Brom Transfer News: Scott Sinclair To Join On Loan

Team Talk. The Manchester City star is set to complete his move within the next 24 hours with his club keen on a permanent deal but West Brom hoping for a loan move. In the end, the two clubs were able to settle on a season-long loan arrangement with the option of joining full time next summer. Sinclair began his career with Bristol Rovers and joined Chelsea's youth academy in 2005, where he was sent out on loan six times to Plymouth, QPR, Charlton, Crystal Palace, Birmingham and Wigan. The England prospect then ended up at Swansea City in 2010, where he established himself as a key part of the Swans' set-up before being snapped up by City last year. However, his time at the Etihad has been frustrating with Sinclair only managing two league starts in 12 months under now-former boss Roberto Mancini. David Silva and James Milner were ahead of the winger in the pecking order last season while the recent arrival of Jesus Navas from Sevilla has pushed Sinclair out of the picture.
