Team News
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has no fresh injury concerns as he prepares to welcome Newcastle United to Upton Park on Saturday. He is expected to name the same side which started at the Etihad Stadium last weekend against Manchester City. Newcastle could welcome back Fabricio Coloccini following the centre back's layoff with a back injury, but Sylvain Marveaux is only expected to be fit enough for the bench following his recent groin injury. The Magpies will once more be without long-term absentee Tim Krul, with the goalkeeper ruled out for the remainder of the season by a serious shoulder injury.
Key Stats
West Ham have drawn three of their last six games. Newcastle have won just one of their last six games and are without a win since April 7th. West Ham's 2-1 defeat to Manchester City last weekend was only their first loss since March 17th. Newcastle's 6-0 defeat to Liverpool last weekend was their heaviest defeat in the top flight since September 1925 when Blackburn were 7-1 winners. (
