€œThis year we didn€™t work well but this hasn€™t been a bad season and if we win the FA Cup it€™s a good season.€

Last weekend ended with news that rival club Manchester United were to appoint David Moyes as the manager as Sir Alex Ferguson announced his retirement, something which could of given City the upper hand next season. Mancini's weekend of hell began when his team were defeated by Wigan Athletic in the F.A Cup final on Saturday. Sunday, Mancini along with his squad watched Manchester United lift the Premier League title and on Monday night, the club announced he had been sacked.
