Matthias Schrader/AP/Press Association ImagesMatthias Schrader/AP/Press Association ImagesThe World Cup is easily the most watched sporting event in the world. Even people that don't generally watch football tend to take an interest in the World Cup, especially when it gets down to the drama of the knockout stages. The problem is, now that England are out, how do we keep ourselves emotionally invested in the games that are being played? By having a flutter, of course! Regular gamblers will know this already, but having a bet on an event that you're watching is a great way to reintroduce the drama and get the adrenaline pumping. Some people bet because they're really counting on winnings, whilst others bet just to keep the interest in a particular match or event. Either way, it can make for a great night's entertainment. Here, we're going to try and make you guys some money, suggesting bets that could very well happen, both in the quarter finals and over the rest of the World Cup in general! All prices (and offers) listed in this article are taken from Betfred.com. Please feel free to comment on the bets listed here and even let us know about the bets that you're placing or are planning to place on the World Cup, in the comments section!
