5 Awesome Comics You Must Read This Week (21 March)

It's a great week to be a comics reader with so many awesome titles being released right now! Marvel continue their weird re-branding experiment with "new" number #1s of Iron Man and Daredevil out this week even though the Iron Man issue is also called #23 and the only thing different about Daredevil is that Matt Murdock's moved from the East Coast to the West! Mark Waid, Chris Samnee and the rest of the Daredevil creative team remain intact. With big-budget movies Noah and Captain America: The Winter Soldier on the way, Image are releasing a Noah tie-in comic book to coincide with the Darren Aronofsky movie, also co-written by Aronofsky, and Marvel's mini-series, The Winter Solider: The Bitter March, takes a look at Cap's sidekick Bucky's troubled past before audiences see the big screen version next week. Discounting Marvel's fake #1s, this week shows how many great titles are continuing well past their initial release €“ a lull where some brilliant ongoing issues get their time to shine before next week sees another batch of Marvel #1s flood the shelves!
