5 Awesome Comics You Must Read This Week (7 March)

After a quiet couple of weeks, there was an absolute deluge of new comics from all of the publishers this week! Marvel unleashed a ton of even more All-New Marvel NOW! #1s and followed up their #1s from last month with some #2s and #3s - Marvel are simply relentless in their quest for more readers at the moment! They want every demographic picking up their comics and, with all these new releases, they've got the range to appeal to nearly everyone. DC put out their regular assortment of titles with the penultimate issue of Forever Evil hitting shelves. Their releases so far this year have been very muted and uninspired compared to the fanfare of Marvel's new wave of comics. DC are much more restrained with the #1s these days, saving up their big releases like weekly comics Batman: Eternal and Futures End for later in the year. Meanwhile Image, the world's third biggest comics publisher after Marvel and DC, continued to push for more market share with a host of releases from the biggest names in the business right now. They're the de facto stand in for comics readers who haven't got the appetite for superhero stories but still want to read quality comics - and Image have got some really good comics titles right now. There's never been a better time to be a comics fan than right now, especially when so many awesome comics came out this week.
