Discover The Kitchen Of The Future With IKEA

#IKEAtemporary

For many people IKEA is the go to place for home wear and self-assembly furniture (and let€™s not forget those succulent meatballs). The Swedish furniture kings are now turning their attention on what the kitchen of tomorrow will look like, and they are interested in hearing the views of its millions of customers around the world. Building on from the #IKEAtemporary space which they purposely put aside in Milan for the World Expo, and the 2025 Concept Kitchen designed by students from Lund University and Eindhoven University of Technology, IKEA are going to spend the next 6 months holding seminars, workshops, and other events focussing on how we will look to be using our kitchen in years to come. Just think - app controlled ovens, voice activated toasters, or perhaps a holographic Ainsley Harriott materialising to cook you dinner at the end of a hard day. IKEA are opening places at these events up to the public, but are also inviting comments and discussions on their range of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter @IKEAtemporary. Founded in Sweden in 1943 IKEA has built in to one of the most well known brands in the world, and has stores open across 5 continents.

IKEA hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
