LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Review [PS Vita]

This handheld affair was a welcome return to Lego simplicity, especially in the game's set up and led to me having fun with the franchise that I'd got snippy with over recent instalments.

Quantum Conundrum

Quantum Conundrum Review [PC]

Quantum Conundrum never takes itself too seriously and delivers a superb game for a minute fee. Definitely worth your time.

Lollipop Chainsaw Review [XBox 360]

In short, it's a whole lot of fun, without any concerns for political correctness or appearing high-brow (in the true spirit of the zombie genre), though it's far from unflawed, and some might seek something with a little more finesse.

SpellForce 2: Faith In Destiny Review [PC] - Bland But Good

The game is nothing new, but for what it is, it's quite good. By handling its overall "averageness" to the best of its abilities, the game manages to be a very pleasant overall experience, although it's hardly memorable.

MK Vita

Mortal Kombat: Review [PS Vita]

It doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel but it does everything Mortal Kombat and it does it well. It's fun, it's fast and it's good ol' MK mean. Vita and handheld fighters seem to be a fine pairing and MK adds to the catalogue of options well.

Resistance: Burning Skies Review [PS Vita]

Burning Skies is a flawed and almost failing flagship, and we will have to wait for the first great handheld FPS, because despite the strength of the franchise, and some good core elements, this is not it.

Letters From Nowhere 2 Review [iOS]

There isn’t anything that jumps out at you as overly brilliant but this sequel is a well put together game that will give you hours of fun.

Ghost Recon FS

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Review [XBox 360]

Future Soldier is an intelligently crafted, hugely rewarding shooter that pays due attention to former Ghost Recon titles, and rewards exactly what the player puts into it.

Top Gun Hard Lock

Top Gun: Hard Lock Review [XBox 360]

Top Gun: Hard Lock is far from terrible: it offers sparks of entertainment, especially in the new Hard Lock system, and it offers a fundamentally engaging gameplay experience. There's just not a great deal to shout about.

Fable Heroes 1

Fable Heroes Review [XBLA]

Fable fans will enjoy seeing familiar heroes from the series make a cute puppet return here, but the RPG elements have been swapped for simple hack and slash instead and whilst fun it's a little too repetitive to warrant several replays.

Max Payne 3 Review [Xbox 360]

Max Payne 3 is a game that grabs your attention and refuses to let go. Rockstar has found a way to seamlessly combine storytelling with gameplay that creates an experience like nothing you have ever seen before in a video game.

Velocity Review [PS Network]

Velocity is a 2D spaceship shooter that rewards quick fingers and wraps pitch-perfect controls in retro pixellated garb.

Sniper Elite V2 Review [XBox 360]

Yes, the core sniping mechanic still rings triumphant, as piercing through the part-crunchy, part-gooey interior's of skeleton-men NPCs is fantastic and hugely rewarding. The writing's on the wall however, as this one trick pony can’t sing a symphony with one note alone.
