10 Actors You Probably Forgot Were On Lost

How many of these familiar faces do you remember seeing on (and off) that island?

Around this time a decade ago, viewers the world over were knee-deep in the stories of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815, on the verge of learning Ethan was not on the manifest, discovering the hatch with Locke and Boone and realizing Walt would be just one of many designated as €œspecial€ throughout the show€™s run. Over the course of six seasons, Lost developed numerous main characters and storylines, creating a complex world colored by a vast array of minor and recurring characters. With identifiable guest stars like Katey Sagal, Cheech Marin, Julie Bowen, Allison Janney, Clancy Brown and many more showing up time and again, the show never let up on bringing in familiar faces to breathe life into its expansive character roster. Though many of the show's recurring characters were able to become as memorable as its main characters, there were quite a few characters who existed solely in a handful of scenes, usually just in a single episode, amounting to nothing more than a throwaway role. Ten years on, however, many of these actors of the show's most insignificant characters have gone on to be recognizable faces in their own right, typically through their presence on other shows. In some cases, the actor was well-known even before Lost, making the fact their presence on the show was so forgettable all the more surprising. In last-minute honor of the show's ten-year anniversary, let€™s take a look at some of the actors who you most likely know now and would be totally surprised to see when rewatching the show again. And before we get started, it should be pointed out that this list is meant primarily for those who watched the show casually or haven't seen it since it originally aired. For those of us who still know every line, every character and every story thread, the names on this list probably won't be that big a surprise. With that said, grab your giant ankh in a guitar case, strap in and let's go back to the island.
