10 Best Dramatic TV Series Of 2015

10 great seasons of the Golden Age of Television.

The past few years, we have entered the Golden Age of Television, where many TV shows are better written, better acted, and more enjoyable than some blockbuster movies. Even major actors are jumping from the big screen to the small screen in order to be a part of this new revolution of entertainment. There has been a lot of great television in 2015 -- too many shows to make this list. Great shows like Ray Donovan, House of Cards, and The Americans had third seasons that didn't live up to the high quality of the previous two. Other shows like Downton Abbey have overstayed their welcome. Still though, it was incredibly tough to choose the best 10, let alone rank them. That's how good television was in 2015. Some criteria for this list -- it's for dramatic television, but a couple dark comedies crept onto the list. Basically, if you don't laugh out loud, it's not quite a comedy. Secondly, it's for American television, so some Brits may not recognize the networks listed. Third, it's for cable television networks only, so don't expect to see any NCIS shows or The Blacklist. Fourth, the only streaming service on this list is Netflix, so don't expect any Hulu Plus or Amazon Prime shows on the list (apologies in advance, Transparent fans). Finally, partial seasons will be included on the list. And just a heads up, there will be no spoiler discussion for any of the shows, so feel free to click through even if you haven't seen everything! With those disclaimers out of the way, let's get into the 10 best seasons of television in 2015!
