9. Superman Returns
Everyone loves Superman. He was one of the first superheroes in the DC universe and has been portrayed by several different actors over the years.
With his Kryptonian cousin getting her own series, and the Man of Steel being mentioned and alluded to in almost every episode, it was only a matter of time before Superman returned to the small screen. Wasting no time after the big move from CBS to the WB, Clark Kent made his first Arrowverse appearance during the season premiere of Supergirl.
Tyler Hoechlin made an immediate impact and played a surprisingly entertaining Superman. Many fans immediately credited him as being better than the DCEU’s Henry Cavill and some went as far as to say that he was the best Superman since Christopher Reeves. This high praise has almost certainly guaranteed Hoechlin a return trip to National City and to the Arrowverse.
Now that Superman has made an appearance, and Batman is rumored to also turn up on the CW, Greg Berlanti may soon have enough DC superstars to consider bringing in the Justice League.
