10 Episodes That Made You Quit Your Favourite TV Shows

Enough is enough, television.

After investing countless hours into a television show, it can be difficult to say goodbye... especially when the show in question isn't actually over.

What is more frustrating than a TV show that starts out brilliantly, hooks you in, and then - slowly, slowly - begins to deteriorate before you very eyes, though?

Denial plays a huge part in this process, of course; you instinctively know when a show is starting to lose your interest when a week or two passes and you forget to tune in, forcing you to catch up when you "get a minute." But really this is an excuse. You didn't tune in because you weren't all that bothered. And so it starts: the beginning of the end.

It's never fun to abandon a show, but it can be liberating, too: sometimes you have to stand tall and declare yourself to be "done." Which is probably what happened with the following TV shows, all of which pushed their audiences into places where they had no choice but to sever all ties.

These are the episodes that, through terrible plot twists, ratings grabs, or just plainly bad writing, inspired you to finally quit on your favourite shows...
