10 Exact TV Moments That Made Fans Rage Quit

7. The New Cast - Scrubs: Season Nine

The Walking Dead Negan
ABC

Scrubs had been threatened with cancellation a few times throughout its run, but it was agreed season eight was the right time to stop. The show had lost some of its spark, and it was time to move on. To that end, the last episode of the season - which featured J.D. leaving the hospital for the last time - was designed to wrap up the show.

It did that perfectly, being an emotional and warm tribute to the series. Too bad the network felt the need to screw it up, ordering another season that would feature a new cast mingling with the old. Turk and Dr Cox stuck around as regulars, with Zach Braff popping in occasionally to ease the transition.

It was clear from the first episode this venture was doomed; the newbies weren’t a patch on the original cast, with Dave Franco, in particular, being oppressively obnoxious. Its biggest sin was the lack of decent gags, and when it was finally cancelled at the end of the season it seemed like a mercy killing.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
