10 Films From 2013 That Would Make Great TV Shows

10. Despicable Me 2

The world can't get enough of minions right now, if you want a product with a dopy yellow face in it there will be one to purchase. With animated spin offs being created from films like The Mummy, Beetlejuice and Ghostbusters an animated tv show of Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud's film could really work, and the enduring appeal of the Minions would pretty much guarantee a massive audience. Aimed at a younger audience (which means it will be every adult's hung-over guilty pleasure) the adventures of the little yellow guys would work better in short half an hour episodes rather than the full length movie that is about to be greenlit. Each episode will tell of another random adventure Gru's Minions go on with new machines and even more disguises. In some episodes they could be against master villains but some episodes could just consist of them going to the mall in their own unique way. Steve Carrell need not get involved as the Minions' boss Gru is far less appealing than Kevin, Stuart and co, but his adoptive daughters should play central roles, given that Agnes was just as important to the first movie's success as the Minions were.
