Weiss comfortably adopting Martin's bold attitude. Many times, it has been handled perfectly, no matter how devastating the result. Sean Bean could've strolled through Thrones as Ned Stark for many seasons, but while his death was early and horribly shocking, it ignited an immense range of storylines that have played out superbly since.
