Granted, this would have been a beautiful instance of schadenfreude if it had been a contestant, and not Pat Sajak, that had hit so many bankrupts in a row. Still, the audiences reaction the host having to constantly re-do what is meant to be the final spin proves how exciting it is when something goes awry on a tried and true show. You think things would have gone wrong more often in the early days, considering the aforementioned conditions under which Pat and Vanna worked
