Stewart almost immediately begins taking the show to task, criticising its format and evidently right-wing partisan politics, noting that it has a duty to provide an open political dialogue and categorically fails to do that. One interviewer, thinking he's smart, decides to take Jon Stewart's own Daily Show to task for failing to be hard hitting as well, before Stewart rightly notes that he's a comedian, not a journalist, and that's not his responsibility. Stewart comes off well, running rings around the hosts who try to keep their cool but are clearly cracking under the pressure.
