10 Most Unforgettable Couples On TV

They made shipping an actual thing.

David Moonlighting Television is rife with classic couples who have entertained us over the years. Bones and Booth (and other modern pairs) owe a lot to the television couples of old. Work place romances, odd couples, wacky pairings living in the strangest of circumstances - love on television always seems to find a way, and a number of pairings throughout television history have laid the ground work for the couples we see on screen today. There are a lot of classic couplings on television. Not all of them are necessarily romantic (The Odd Couple comes to mind). Many, however, are unforgettable, at least to television junkies of fans of their respective series. The Honeymooners Ralph and Alice Kramden, for example, are often cited as the original sitcom couple. Ward and June Cleaver offered the ideal parental unit. Al and Peggy Bundy went against traditional television stereotypes and presented a couple that was anything but affectionate with each other (though deep down, they really did care). Roseanne and Dan did the same. Peter and Lois Griffin can be seen as a more modern, animated extension of that. Those are all fine television couples, but who are the really unforgettable ones? Which had the greatest impact on their shows, and on their fans? Did they work out? Did they fall apart, or burn out, in the end? Did they ride happily into the sunset? Are any of them still going strong? Lets take a look at ten unforgettable television couples.
