10 Reasons Why South Park is Better Than The Simpsons

10. It€™s the Logical Progression

http://youtu.be/iDuMp2kDxos I imagine most of you, like myself, grew up on a staple diet of The Simpsons. As a child it was a thrill to watch, because it represents that middle ground for humour: it€™s not quite for children; it€™s not quite for adults; it€™s for the whole family. Kids get to feel a little older by watching, while adults get to feel a little younger. Enter South Park Season 1; which represents for me my rebellious teens. My parents hated it, and looking back at the first couple of seasons I can see why, but that only spurred me on to love it more. I€™d still watch the Simpsons of course, but South Park quickly became the key. And if South Park got you then, like it did me, then it grew up with you and was probably never far from mind. It evolved, as you did, over the years from simple and offensive, eventually into what it is today: a show that€™s still offensive, but also often quite tender, honest and revelatory.
