10 Star Wars Actors You Never Knew Were In Doctor Who
1. David Tennant
Yep, our favorite Scottish actor (apologies to Sean Connery), has not only fought in the Time War, but has spent time in the trenches of the Clone Wars. But that’s not all he’s done. He’s been Casanova, Bernard Quatermass, Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Romeo AND Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Sir Arthur Eddington in Einstein and Eddington, and Hamlet. He has done extensive voice acting as well.
His most famous role, and the one that made him a household name in the UK, is of course, the 10th incarnation of our favorite Time Lord from Gallifrey. He starred in the role for four full seasons and five specials, the longest run since Tom Baker’s 4th Doctor.
He has recently been lending his voice talents to the architect droid, Professor Huyang, in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars cartoon. As the construction droid that builds the new Jedi their light-sabers, he has a vast knowledge and wisdom befitting a robot that has trained Jedi for over a thousand generations.
There are many other actors and actresses who have had small roles in both Doctor Who and Star Wars. It seems everybody wants to play in those universes. Maybe that crossover WILL happen, eventually.
