10 Surprising Cameos By WWE Wrestlers In Cartoons

9. Hulk Hogan - American Dad / Space Ghost

When American Dad's lead character, Stan Smith, suffers an identity crisis and becomes a snobbish member of a rich man's club, Stan's son, Steve, intervenes with a little help from a real American. After all, who better to show Stan the American way than the 'American Made' Hulk Hogan? Brother!

Clad in red and yellow, preaching about the prayers and the vitamins and using the word "brother" like a comma, Hogan proceeds to show Stan the error of his ways. After a hearty handshake from 'The Immortal One', Stan himself begins to "Hulk up", tearing off his shirt like his idol and wagging the finger of doom.

The two proceed to clean house and beat down the snotty, rich club members - all to the soundtrack of Real American by Rick Derringer. In typical off-the-wall, American Dad style, Hogan closes the episode by walking off naked into the sunset... poetically foreshadowing his career in the years that followed.

Outside of American Dad, Hogan also made an appearance on Space Ghost Coast to Coast, in the 1995 episode "Sleeper". Unlike his American Dad appearance, Hogan played himself and was not transformed into cartoon format for the show. The results were still brilliant and the bizarre interview format between 'The Hulkster' and Space Ghost still makes for some pretty funny viewing.
