10 Terrible Glee Musical Numbers

10. Ben: Micheal Jackson

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISPT6XI1ibU Though this is widely considered Micheal Jacksons worst song I honestly don't mind the original version. Still, as a fan of MJ's music, this is still one of his worst and the Glee club do nothing to change its status. My two favorite singers in the Glee universe personally are Lea Michele and Chris Colfer (Rachel and Kurt) and when they sing together I love their voices even more, but really- what the hell were the writers thinking here. Not only is this songs just tonally out of place in the MJ tribute episode, but it is perhaps the cheesiest thing you will ever watch. If this was all I had seen of the show there is absolutely no way I'd be a fan- luckily however this is one of the worst examples. It isn't that the song is sang badly at all, but it certainly isn't improved... and why the hell are they all singing creepily to Blaine in an eye patch. This is creepy for so many levels and Finn looks uncomfortable throughout this whole song. If I were the actors I would have struggled not to laugh through this entire number. And for the life of me I can't understand why they didn't change the word from "Ben" to "Blaine"... it fits perfectly and they really missed a trick here.

I am a recent Screenwriting for Film and Television graduate from the UK. I am an unashamed geek who loves everything Marvel, and anything Joss Whedon has ever touched (except for maybe Alien Resurrection and Titan A.E). My current favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Family Guy, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Homeland and Glee. I look forward to debating things with all of you in the future.
