10 Things David Tennant Has Done Since Leaving Doctor Who

From the Bard to Broadchurch.

David Tennant will always be known and loved for his portrayal of the Tenth Doctor in Doctor Who and his legion of dedicated followers have been thrilled to see his career go from strength to strength since he left the wonders of time and space behind him in 2010. It's somewhat of a risk to leave the safety of TV's biggest drama - and a role in which you're universally adored - in order to take on the big, bad world but David's leap of faith paid off and he's established himself as one of the most successful actors working in the industry today. It's helped that he seemingly hasn't stopped for breath since he uttered those immortal words "I don't want to go" and left an entire nation in turmoil. As well as a wide selection of roles - both guest and leading - on TV, he's also been treading the boards, making movies, fronting TV ad campaigns and lending his voice to the odd wildlife documentary along the way. He even somehow found the time to step back aboard the TARDIS and if, like the rest of us, you've been struggling to keep up with him, here's a round up of 10 things he's done since leaving Doctor Who. There's so much more that could have been included, of course, but these are the highlights. He's certainly been a busy man.
