10 Things We Learned From Season 1 Of Ash Vs. Evil Dead

It's been groovy, baby!

Ash vs. Evil Dead has now concluded its first season - and what a roller coaster ride of a season it was. For fans of the Evil Dead franchise, it was a trip back into the world of Ash, the deadites, the chainsaw hand and the boomstick. For newcomers - well, the amount of gore might have been more than a little shocking, but it's almost impossible to watch the show and not laugh a bit at how over the top it all is. From meat grinders to ice skates to axes, guns, knives, and everything in between, the show brought out its full arsenal - and even surprised fans by being more than just a ten episode collage of gory death scenes. In short, it was a very successful season, with both critics and fans alike loving the show. The supporting cast, at least Pablo and Kelly, have caught on, and Bruce Campbell is, well, Bruce Campbell. Luckily, StarZ has already announced a second season for the series, to which we say (*in Bruce Campbell voice*) "Groovy!" In the meantime, let's take a look at the big takeaways from the first blood soaked, absolutely insane season of Ash vs. Evil Dead.
