10 Things You Didnt Know About The Walking Dead Cast

Sometimes real life is even stranger than The Walking Dead.

The fifth season of AMC's The Walking Dead has come to an end, and though there is an upcoming spin-off prequel series Fear The Walking Dead to look forward to, for now, the adventures of Rick, Daryl, Michonne, Glenn and all the rest have come to a close until next fall. Which makes this the perfect time to reflect on those characters, and actors, still with the show - and those who aren't. Like many shows with a high body count (Game of Thrones is a particular standout here as well), there has been a lot of turnover as far as actors on The Walking Dead are concerned. In fact, from the original group in season one, only the characters of Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Carl (Chandler Riggs), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Carol (Melissa McBride), and Daryl (Norman Reedus) remain, and of those, only Rick, Carl, and Glenn have been there for every outing. Over time we've seen fan favourites and hated characters alike fall, among them Dale, Andrea, Shane, Herschel, the Governor, Tyreese, and others. And as they fell, the actors who portrayed them - many extremely popular among the Walking Dead fanbase - have gone on their way. Gone, but not forgotten. Lets take a look at ten things you (probably) didn't know about the cast, past and present, of AMC's The Walking Dead.
