10 Things You Learn Rewatching Game Of Thrones Season 1

9. Jaime Is A Bad, Bad, Bad Man

If you took a cross-section of the Thrones fanbase and asked them who the top few villains in Westeros are right now, I could guarantee the number of votes for Jaime would be minimal to non-existent. Ever since Jaime lost his hand, he has embarked on a major redemption storyline that has seen him stunningly become something of a fan-favourite. Yes, Jaime Lannister, the incestuous, pompous, arrogant rapist, attempted child-killer, and Kingslayer.

Re-watching Season 1 highlights how truly awful Jaime really was. He was the original big, bad villain from the word 'go'. Jaime threw little Bran Stark out of a tower window in EPISODE ONE for discovering the incest between him and Cersei, and came with the reputation of killing the King of Westeros whom he was sworn to protect.

It's easy to forget his bleak past, but the evidence is all there in Season 1.
