10 Truly Terrible Movies From The Game Of Thrones Cast

8. Dracula Untold - Art Parkinson

The Hobbit star Luke Evans dons some decidedly Targaryen-esque armour in this naff fantasy-historical prequel to the legendary vampire tale that also served as an ill-judged kick off to Universal's attempt to turn their Gothic monster properties into a Marvel-style shared universe.

Parkinson (Game Of Thrones' Rickon, the forgotten Stark) stars as the son and heir of a curiously noble and pleasant Vlad the Impaler, who is driven to vampirism mostly to save his people from the invading Ottoman Empire. Parkinson's role is mostly to inspire his vampiric father to heroism, as proto-Drac ultimately sacrifices himself to kill the other vampires and ensure the boy survives.

The movie (which also features fellow Game Of Thrones star Charles Dance as Vlad's ancient cave-dwelling vampire sire) tries so hard to make its iconic monster a sympathetic fantasy warrior hero that it completely forgets to be a satisfying vampire movie. Still, it's far from the worst low grade fantasy flick to try and gain a bit of reflected Westerosi prestige from a Thrones cast member in a supporting role.

They said: "Dracula Untold flirts with dullness so much that it might as well just stick a stake in the heart of Bram Stoker's legacy." (USA Today)
