10 TV Characters Cut From Shows (In The Worst Way)

10. Heath - The Walking Dead

The nature of The Walking Dead's world makes characters disappearing for episodes or even seasons at a time an understandable prospect. This is a zombie-apocalypse story where getting from A to B is always a treacherous task, while the huge ensemble cast also means characters can fade into the background without viewers wondering where the hell they are.

That makes it even more remarkable, then, that the writers still completely messed up writing Heath out of the show. A staple of the comics and a major protagonist introduced in Season 5, the Alexandrian was last seen in Season 7 episode 6 while out on a supply run with Tara.

The episode ends with the two separated and the latter making it back to Rick's camp, but Heath's fate is left up in the air. The rule in The Walking Dead is that if you don't see a body, you should never assume someone is dead, but Heath was barely even addressed following this episode, and fans are still wondering where he went when Tara made it back relatively quickly.

The real reason he didn't show up again was that the actor, Corey Hawkins, got another gig starring in 24: Legacy, but even with that over, he's yet to return.
