7. The Wolves - The Walking Dead
For a large part of The Walking Deads 5th season there wasnt a particular villain as such, outside of the zombies, obviously. The threat of Terminus was dealt with fairly swiftly, as was the hospital team. When they arrived at Alexandria, the conflict mostly existed between the residents there and Ricks group. There were a couple of opposing enemies, most notably Pete, Jessies abusive husband who Rick eventually kills. However, the biggest threat was only teased for the most part - via Ws carved into the heads of walkers. We finally meet the Wolves in the season finale, after it had previously been revealed that they were responsible for killing the humans of Shirewell Estate (Noahs home), not walkers. A couple of them are later defeated by Morgan, but manage to escape and kill another human. They learn about Alexandria and Rick et al, and right at the end of the finale we see a car spray-painted with the words Wolves not far. Although only seen briefly, theyre clearly a big threat to the other survivors, ones not afraid to kill their fellow man and do it in brutal ways, and allow them to turn, and hopefully well be seeing a lot more of them in the future.
