The same set of points extend to Danny Rand's crime-fighting partner. She started out pretty feisty, but by the end of the show, she took on new dimensions, inheriting the power of the Iron Fist, wielding a glowing sword and vowing to single-handedly take the fight to the criminals of New York.

Like Rand himself, it seemed as though Colleen had been cut off in her prime. Her eventual story arc was one which should have been implemented a good series before, and so by the time things got interesting, the interest itself had waned beyond repair.

Colleen bounced around to a lot of different places in the Marvel comics, which means the MCU potential is always there. Jessica Henwick's contribution to the character was grand enough to translate to the big screen, especially as it ended with super-powered qualities.

The final episode of Iron Fist, though something of a non-starter, also hinted at the emergence of The Daughters of the Dragon, a Colleen Wing/Misty Knight pair-up which the big MCU picture may have had some fun with. No more, it seems.
