12 New Characters Set To Appear In Game Of Thrones Season 6

1. Pirate

Description: €œMan in his 40€™s to late 50€™s. He€™s €˜an infamous pirate who has terrorised seas all around the world. Cunning, ruthless, with a touch of madness.€™ He€™s a dangerous-looking man. A very good part this season.€ Who It Could Be: Euron Greyjoy. The big missing storyline from this season was that of the Ironborns, which takes up a large part of A Feast For Crows. It had been assumed that we wouldn't be seeing any of their story at all, but now it appears it will be happening in season 6, at least in some form. While in the books we also meet Aeron and Victarion Greyjoy, all three of them brothers of Balon, it might just be Euron who appears in the show. The book sees them, along with Asha (who is known as Yara on TV) competing to become the new King (or Queen) of the Iron Islands following on from Balon€™s death (which we may see/hear of before this season finishes), taking part in a Kingsmoot to elect the new leader. Euron ultimately wins, so it seems they may be jumping straight into that. The Ironborn launch an attack on the Reach, which is where the story may converge with the Tarlys, while Euron also sends his brother to take a proposal of marriage to Daenerys Targaryen. Chances are, if they aren€™t introducing Victarion, then the show will only follow one of these: the former is more likely, as it gives us a chance to see more of the Crow€™s Eye being the bad-ass pirate we know him to be, while there is already a considerable amount going on in Daenerys€™ story anyway. Presumably there'll be more new characters added in the months to come, but the fact that these are out first suggest they're the biggest new roles for next year, and we'll probably get some casting announcements in the coming months. Until then, expect the speculation to continue and gather pace.
