12 TV Shows You Won't Believe Are 10 Years Old In 2015

There's no way that that started in 2005...

Back in 2005, the world was a very different place: the iPhone was still two years away from being released and revolutionising the telecommunications industry, Tony Blair was still championing New Labour€™s cause as Prime Minister of Britain and London had only just won the right to host the 2012 Olympic Games. That naive world seems almost like a lifetime away, but then it would, given how swiftly the world has evolved since. What€™s more, the year 2005 was a stellar 12 months for TV, with many of the shows introduced that year still on screens to this day, or at the very least the other programmes enjoyed a good few series before being discontinued after a successful run. It is frightening to think that these programmes are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their first airing in 2015. Time really does catch up on you when you're sitting watching your favourite characters evolve and grow over time, series after series, getting married, having kids, and trying to grind their way through any of the normal problems which life dishes up while you're still snuggled up on the same sofa, eating the same brand of popcorn and dreaming the same dreams you were a decade previously. Sit back, relax and really begin to feel your age by looking through 12 of the extremely-successful shows, which debuted back in 2005...
