15 Doctor Who Scenes That Make You Cry Every Damn Time

What? No? There's just something in my eye...

Being a Doctor Who fan isn't easy, you know. Accompanying TV's favourite Time Lord on his ongoing extraterrestrial escapades is a psychical and mental rollercoaster to say the very least, and his legion of devoted devotees should be given credit for the strength of their emotional resilience. After all, it's not every show on telly that forces you to fall in love with its main character before sensationally killing him off and replacing him with somebody else. That's just when it comes to the Doctor department, too, as the heartache continues between each of his respective regenerations with the seemingly endless departures of his coveted companions and amicable associates. So yeah, it isn't easy. But it's so worth it. Getting your heart(s) repeatedly ripped out and stomped on by an army of careless Cybermen is part of what being a Whovian is all about and it's common knowledge that sad is happy for deep people. It's just as well, really, as the Doctor Who writers have been hell bent on destroying our souls since our beloved hero returned to our screens back in 2005. Here are just 15 Doctor Who scenes that are guaranteed to make you cry every damn time.
