Phoebe Waller-Bridge has become a household name since Fleabag first aired back in 2016. While the show (based on her own one-woman stage production) was critically acclaimed, it wasn't exactly highly watched. Since then, though, Waller-Bridge has appeared in Star Wars, and created one of 2018's buzziest new shows, Killing Eve.

Fleabag, though, remains her best work to date, with a level of wit and authenticity few comedies have matched in recent years. Waller-Bridge gives a performance that is both raw and utterly hilarious, so it's going to be great to see what further adventures she has in store for her fourth-wall breaking protagonist, especially after so long away.

Sherlock's Andrew Scott has joined the cast, while the likes of Olivia Colman will be back too, and we'll be seeing Fleabag without the facade she presented in the first series, which should make for an even more emotional journey. There's no release date yet, but filming started back in August, so it shouldn't be too far away.
