17 Shows To Binge-Watch Before They Return This Fall

You can finally say 'yes!' when so-and-so at work asks "have you seen...?"

Summer is almost over. Ok, it€™s only July, and hopefully there€™s at least some sunshine still to come, but in TV terms there isn€™t much left.

Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp drops into Netflix on July 31, while Fear The Walking Dead will arrive on 23 August to take us right up to the return of its parent show. But aside from those, most shows have either ended their summer fling (e.g. Orange is the New Black season 3) or will be shortly (True Detective S2).

Because of that, and with a lot of hype and news coming out of San Diego Comic-Con and the like, attention is firmly back on the fall season. This is the major time for television networks, their Thanksgiving and Christmas rolled into one as they offer up the shows set to dominate screens and social media from September to May.

This is when most of the biggest and best shows that everyone is talking about will return (you can see a list of the most promising new shows here). TV is such a huge part of our culture at the moment, something everyone is talking about online or even, if you can believe it, in person.

If you€™re sick of trying to avoid spoilers, being repeatedly asked whether you watch a certain show (no, you have a damn social life), or have no idea who this €˜Daryl€™ guy is everyone seems to love so much, then these are the shows to get caught up on before they return this fall (or autumn, as it€™s really known).
