20 Mind-Blowing Facts About It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia

14. The Almost Guest Stars

Sunny and Breaking Bad fans rejoiced when Aaron Paul said during a Reddit AAM that if he could be on any show other than Breaking Bad it would be It's Always Sunny, Game Of Thrones or House Of Cards. By placing Sunny alongside those two shows, the man famous for playing Jesse Pinkman was paying the Sunny team a huge compliment. Not that's he's wrong when he calls Sunny 'badass and addictive'. It's just that Sunny often doesn't get its due or placed alongside shows like GoT or HoC. Dolph Lundgren, who was the subject of a fictional movie that Dennis writes during the episode Mac And Charlie Write A Movie has also said that he'd be open to coming on the show as a guest star. He would join former professional wrestler and B movie actor Roddy Piper, who has appeared in a couple of Sunny episodes. Howerton has mentioned that his preferred guest star would be Al Pacino, just to have Pacino scream at him for five minutes on camera (only to then realise he's been screaming at the wrong person) but any Pacino, Lundgren or Aaron Paul would be a welcome addition and probably provide a lot of comedic moments.
