24. Star Trek: Discovery - Season 1 Part 2
Another one that did that annoying mid-season break thing. The sixth small-screen incarnation of Gene Rodenberry's beloved science fiction series has proved a bit controversial in some quarters, what with its dark tone, openly gay characters and use of the F-bomb. (If that's a problem, better brace yourselves for whatever Quentin Tarantino has in mind for Star Trek on the big screen.)
Even so, while some may not feel it's true Trek, Discovery is still an intriguing and entertaining SF show in its own right, and surely even naysayers will be keen to see it through to the end of the first season at least.
