5 Doctor Who Villains That Are More Powerful Than The Daleks

5. The Reapers

The purpose or the Reapers was to correct the very construct of time itself in the event of overly powered beings such as the Time Lords creating paradoxes. They do this by destroying every living creature within such a paradox. They destroy them by taking them out of time with the same kind of effort you exert when you throw away a funny looking crisp you find somewhere in the packet. These things live within the time vortex, not just space, but a whole other plane outside of this universe which exists as the result of multiple dimensions clashing into each one another. This is the place where they casually choose to live. The Daleks seemingly don€™t meddle with these creatures, since there have been many times they have procured time travel but never attempt to change even a little history because they know that they'll end up being eaten by these giant bats. The only people who could stand up to them were the Time Lords themselves but even then they only tried to change history twice in the entirety of the show. Both times were because the other choice was to let every single thing in the universe be wiped out. The Reapers are only susceptible to weapons which target aspects of time itself. Dalek energy weapons do not target aspects of time. In fact, shoot a Reaper with one of their plungers and it€™d probably just glow a nice blue colour as it continued on with its task of eating you out of reality.
