5 Once Loved TV Shows That Descended Into Total Failure

4. Mock The Week

mocktheweek Mock The Week used to be one of my favourite panel shows. Hosted by the brilliant Dara O'Briain, the show made its debut in 2005 and has since spawned 12 series, the most recent of which started earlier this month. Featuring very able guest comedians such as Milton Jones and Greg Davies with regular panellists Hugh Dennis and Andy Parsons, it used to be a successful show. Used to be. Long term regular Frankie Boyle, who at times stole the show with his risqué brand of controversial humour, left after series 7 while the razor sharp Russell Howard departed the show after series 9 so he could front his own programme €œRussell Howard€™s Good News€. And without those two, the show suddenly became a bit stale and lost much of its sparkle. It pains me to say this, but Mock the Week simply isn€™t funny anymore.
