5 Reasons Breaking Bad Is Better Than The Walking Dead

kkkj I don't think I'm outside of my rights to call 2013 a 'Golden Age' of television. Quality show, after quality show is finding its way to our screens - to the point that there is something to watch, that's worthy of my time, every day of the week. Two such shows are Vince Gilligan's highly acclaimed Breaking Bad and Frank Darabont's post-apocalyptic Comic Book Adapt - The Walking Dead. Whilst I'm a fan of both, there is a noticeable difference between the two shows. When I watch The Walking Dead, I get frustrated. This never happens with Breaking Bad. It's a credit to TWD that it can annoy the hell out of me, yet I still return each week to get my zombie fix, but is that the sign of a good TV show? Or do I just crave a little bit of brainless violence with talented actors and a plot that, let's be honest, we've seen before. With Breaking Bad, I'm left feeling satisfied every time I sit down to watch it. I can't conjure to mind a single moment I would have changed in the past 4 and a half series and I feel comfortable telling people - without hesitation - that it is the best TV show I've ever watched. So what's the difference? I've given it much thought, and brought together 5 aspects of Breaking Bad that, translated into The Walking Dead, are not nearly as effective. Ladies and Gentlemen this is the point at which I warn you about potential spoilers, however I will go ahead and assume that, by having an interest in this article in the first place, you will be fairly au-fait with the ins and outs of both shows anyway! WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS UPCOMING
