5 Reasons Why The Big Bang Theory Is Better Than Friends

4. You Learn Something

science Ross may have been a scientist with a fossil fascination but over the ten year we never really learnt anything about the rocks that he held so dear. He€™d occasionally try to lecture his friends but they€™d just mock him before he could say anything interesting and insightful. Of course, this worked really well and was definitely funny. But it€™s great that whilst watching TBBT, we get to learn something. And it€™s still really funny. Sheldon is constantly raving about certain scientific theories and finds any opportunity to impart his knowledge to his friends. He even has a web-series called €˜Dr. Sheldon Cooper Presents Fun With Flags€™, where, whilst laughing at his classic mannerisms, awkward acting and the jokes that come firing at us, we do actually learn a little about flags. The best thing about this intelligent and hilarious show is that it counts as revision for any up-coming science exams that anyone may have €“ all of the science is accurate thanks to David Saltzberg and Mayim Bialik who both have Ph.D€™s and ensure that even the whiteboards in Sheldon and Leonard€™s apartment are scientifically correct.
