5 TV Revivals That Were Worth The Wait

4. Young Justice

Unlike the previous entry on this list, Young Justice did not run for many years. In fact, it barely got off the ground before it was heinously cancelled by Cartoon Network. However, the animated series had amassed a large group of fans - both from its original run and through Netflix - and many of these fans did their utmost to find the canned show a new home.

You know what they say - good things come to those who wait - and that's exactly what happened when DC unveiled its shiny new streaming service last year. A revival series, which is set two years after the events of the second season, was commissioned.

Young Justice: Outsiders has been far from disappointing, as it very much possesses all of the qualities that attracted viewers to the series in the first place. It's new home also meant that the writers were able to explore darker - and more adult - subjects, something that was demonstrated via the blood used in fight sequences.

The DC series is truly everything that fans of the original series could've hoped for, and hopefully it'll be around for many more years to come.
