5 Ways Breaking Bad Could Drop The Ball

breaking badSpoiler Warning: Just to be on the safe side, you can count on Seasons 1 - 5 1/2, up until & including Season 5 Episode 8, of Breaking Bad to be spoiled in this article. Go no further if, for some crazy reason only you can understand, you haven't seen the previous seasons. If you think that April 17th, 2013 was just your typical Wednesday - you're not thinking Bad enough. It was on this glorious day that AMC announced the return date of Vince Gilligan's Breaking Bad, the outstanding drama series about the evolution of Walter White; from Walt the high-school Chemistry teacher and complete deadbeat to Heisenberg the greatest crystal meth cook and complete badass. Currently in its 5th and final season, the show has amassed an army of fans since its original air date in 2008 as every forthcoming season continued to surpass the expectations built by the previous one. Not to mention the Oscar-caliber performances by Bryan Cranston and co. The show was overdosing with so much praise that Forbes came out with an article in 2011 to give 6 reasons why Breaking Bad is the best show on television and, if that wasn't enough, last year we did Forbes one better and came up with 10 reasons why we think it's the best show in T.V. history. How you like them crystals? And on August 11th, the first of the 8 final episodes will start the countdown to the unavoidable void we will all surely feel once Breaking Bad's final credits roll. Seeing as how ingeniously well thought-out, structured and multilayered the show is, it's almost unimaginable to think the story can get so derailed from its path of awesomeness that it drops the ball and becomes "just another show". OR IS IT?! Yeah, most likely it is, but we're big fans of imagination and some could argue that this sort of thing happens more often than not to brilliant shows; The Sopranos? OZ? Hell, The Simpsons have dropped the ball so many times it's surprising they still have balls left. So we went to work in the RV of our minds and cooked up 5 different scenarios that could burst our Breaking Bad bubbles. Just as a reminder, Gliding Over All - the last episode of fifth season's midpoint - ended with Hank taking the most important bathroom break in television history and finding out that Walter has been Heisenberg all along with a little help from Walt Whitman... As Hank's call of nature foreshadows the shit that's about to hit the fan, what could possibly go wrong? Here's our 5 nightmarish scenarios.
