6 Craziest Wayward Pines Moments So Far

Your accidents were in fact not accidents at all. Rather, you were all chosen to be here.

When FOX announced that they would be adapting Blake Crouch's critically acclaimed "Wayward Pines" trilogy into a ten episode serial, fans were naturally excited. Even the fact that the project was set to be helmed by the widely mocked M. Night Shyamalan and to star the relatively wooden Matt Dillon didn't do much to dampen spirits. To date, the show has aired eight of its ten episodes, and critical reception has grown increasingly positive as its mysteries, twists and bizarre characters have been revealed and unpacked. "Wayward Pines" is undoubtedly one of the most chaotic and confusing shows on television at the moment, bringing to mind "Lost", "Twin Peaks" and "The Prisoner", among other shows. Its writers clearly have a talent for writing exceptional cliff-hanging endings. Then, of course, there was that astonishing revelatory fifth episode... Here are six jaw-dropping moments in the series so far. MAJOR spoilers follow, obviously.
