6 Things New To Netflix This Week (March 21)

6. Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey

National Geographic/Fox
Nobody makes nature documentaries quite like the BBC, but the US networks are giving it a bloody good go. Fox went as far as to simulcast Cosmos across ten of its channels (including the sports ones) to show how seriously they were taking their reboot. Yes, reboot. Cosmos was originally fronted in the 80s by American astronaut Carl Sagan, but seeing as he's no longer with us America's answer to Brian Cox has stepped up, with controversial astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson on narrative duty... But the big names don't stop there. Star Trek's Brannon Braga and Family Guy's Seth McFarlane (yes really) are Executive Producers on this educational trip through the galaxy. Topics covered in series one include The Milky Way, the lost worlds of planet Earth and the discovery of electricity, so take a trip through time and space with Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey from March 25th.
