Why You Should Watch It Do you really need a reason? X-Files defined 90's television. It has a superb cast of characters, excellent plots and it also just happens to be one of the best series of all time. The slow burning nature of the show can be off-putting to some but if you stick with it, it does provide some of the best episodes of any TV show ever. Why She'll Love It As with all good shows, characters are the most important factor. Mulder and Scully are one of the most iconic on screen partners in television and for good reason too. The chemistry between them is electric, with Mulder who portrays a non believing skeptic, constantly clashing with alien believer Scully. Season 1 alone has more content than an entire years worth of soaps.
